Our Face Ritual Roller is hand-carved and polished from a single piece of whole rose quartz crystal. So while it maintains its innate positive vibe energies – rose quartz is about giving and receiving love, it is ultimately breakable, so please do keep that in mind. Nonetheless, our petite shape is the right size to target key areas: eyes, forehead, nose, chin, or nasolabial or to use full face. We’ve provided ‘how to rose and roll’ instructions below but please feel free to change it up. The roller works beautifully with our Serum but you can use it with any serum, oil, or moisturizer you may have.  A perfect size for at home or on the go travel.

Before You Roll:

When rolling please remember to be gentle, this should be effortless, not hard. 

Face forward: Rolling can help to enhance relaxation of tight or strained muscles, help reduce inflammation or fluid retention in the skin, improve circulation to help give the skin a radiant glow and relieve overall stress.

I like to move it move it:  Move the roller only in one direction either upwards or outwards.  This can help prevent toxins and fluids from backing up in the face.   Each roller stroke on the face should be targeted towards the lymphatic drainage points at the temples of your face.  Roll each area of the face as many times as you like, making additional passes over any areas where you have tension or a need for more relaxation.  

Serum or dry:  Face or body rolling can be done either over clean, dry, cleansed skin or it can also be done on top of a serum, oil or moisturizer, as you like.

Cool off hot flash helper: Rose Quartz will air chill naturally and will be cool to the touch.  However, it can also be refrigerated should you wish to have a cooling massage experience.

Cleansing ritual: Once you have used your roller it’s best to wipe the roller head with rubbing alcohol after each use and store in a clean, dry place.

How to Roll:

For best results and superior lymphatic drainage (1 to at least 4 times per week): 

The rolling action will help depuff, detox, soothe, and smooth, and it will help your Caire Serum to travel more deeply in, encouraging the skin to hydrate from within and to build new Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid.  After use, please use a very small amount of mild soap and water to clear any residue.

Get Your Roll On:

• Starting from your eyes, gently roll outward from the inner eye, sweeping underneath the eye and outwards to the temple. Repeat 5 to 10x. Then roll upwards from the eyelid, over the eyebrow, towards the hairline. Be gentle, this should be effortless, not hard. 

• Then starting from the side of the nose, roll outwards across the cheek outwards towards the ear. Keep rolling in parallel swooping lines across your face til you reach your chin. Each area should be rolled 5 -10x before descending.

• Reposition your roller to roll from the bottom lip downwards and outwards towards the jawline. (Again, each section should be rolled 5 to 10x).

• Then, roll from the jawline down towards the collarbone or vice versa from the collarbone to the jawline. Choose the direction you feel best most comfortable with and repeat 5 to 10x .
• On the neck, roll horizontally along the underside of the jaw line and chin.  Always roll down along the neck, aiming for the lymphatic drainage points located by the collar bones. 

Precaution:

Rose quartz is a natural pink colored stone, so there will be variation in the color of each individual roller.

Please keep in mind that rose quartz can chip, crack or break when dropped or packed tightly especially without adequate wrapping or cushioning. How to Use with Caire’s Products

Serum

Start with clean skin and gently apply Theorem Serum Boost around the eyes, and then all over the face & neck (using 1 – 2 dropperfuls of serum). The serum is Dermatologically Tested and is safe for use around the eyes (undereye, outer eye & eyelid). Allow the Serum to absorb about 1 minute before starting your gua sha ritual. Allow Serum to absorb about 30 seconds before rolling.

Mask

Apply as often as you would like, from daily to weekly, depending on your skin’s sensitivity, preferably after cleansing. Mask will tighten after 15 – 30 minutes, then rinse off with tepid water & towel. Let the Mask tighten and dry completely. Apply the Caire serum.

Pro Tip: Apply the Caire mask using the Gua Sha.  Rinse with tepid water after use.
